  1. Triple Yahtzee is an adaptation of the popular dice game. The object
  2. of the game is to fill in all categories, in all games and accumulate
  3. as many points as possible. Each time you play a new game, your goal
  4. is to beat your prior score as well as the top score.
  5.  
  6.   In this game you roll the dice (up to 3 times) until you have a hand
  7. that will fit into a category on the game board. You are actually
  8. playing three (3) separate games at one time. Game identifiers are
  9. located at the top of the 3 columns used to record a score.
  10.  
  11.   You will have the choice of selecting the category AND game the
  12. points are to be placed in. Since you do have a choice, you should be
  13. aware that points, placed in game 3, will be TRIPLED, points placed
  14. in game 2 will be DOUBLED and points placed in game 1 REMAIN as
  15. entered. The points will not show as doubled or tripled in the
  16. individual category, but will be reflected in the GRAND TOTAL score.
  17. Please keep this scoring methodology in mind as it plays a major role
  18. in your strategy in maintaining a high score.

  21.   Yahtzee BONUSes, valued at 100 points each, are awarded for each
  22. Yahtzee you roll AFTER you have filled in all three (3) Yahtzee
  23. categories with 0 or 50 points.

  25.   Since each game played, may take longer than the time you have left
  26. on the BBS, a SAVE feature has been incorporated into the game. If
  27. you select the [Q] option you will be given a choice of SAVing the
  28. game for restart during your next Yahtzee Door access.

  31. ONE - SIX     Will add the total of the dice number you choose, into
  32.               the corresponding category. For example, if you roll 3
  33.               sixes, and you choose sixes as the category, the program
  34.               will insert 18 in the game you have chosen. If the total
  35.               of all six categories is greater than 62, you earn a 35
  36.               point bonus.

  38. 3 of a KIND   You are looking to roll 3 of the same die. If you are
  39.               successful, you will accumulate the face value of all
  40.               the dice rolled.
  41.  
  42. 4 of a KIND   You are looking to roll 4 of the same die. If you are
  43.               successful, you will accumulate the face value of all
  44.               the dice rolled.
  45.  
  46. FULL HOUSE    A roll of 3 of a kind and a pair equals a full house.
  47.               If you are successful, you will accumulate 25 points.
  48.  
  49. SM. STRAIGHT  A small straight consists of 4 dice in numerical
  50.               sequence (ie: 2,3,4,5). If you are successful, you
  51.               will accumulate 30 points.
  52.  
  53. LG. STRAIGHT  A large straight consists of all 5 dice in numerical
  54.               sequence (ie: 1,2,3,4,5). If you are successful, you
  55.               will accumulate 40 points.

  57. YAHTZEE       Rolling all 5 dice with the same face value, will
  58.               accumulate 50 points.

  60. CHANCE        This category accepts the total of all 5 dice.

  63.   The HOTKEY feature, when enabled, tells the game that you do not
  64. want to press ENTER after entering required data. If the HOTKEY
  65. feature is turned off, you will have to press ENTER each time. The
  66. default setting of the HOTKEY feature, when you enter the game, is
  67. set by the Sysop.

  69.   You may review this INSTRUCTION/HELP file, at any time, by
  70. selecting option [I] off the Main Menu. The game board will be
  71. restored when you return to the game.
